What if homework was a starting point for achieving mastery through a series of learning and assessment encounters initiated by the student and facilitated by the teacher? In today’s world, homework is ineffective because it becomes a chore for both teachers and students. Can a system be evolved, at scale, that allows the student to delve deeper to attain mastery, while it allows the teacher to isolate problem areas on a per student basis and intervene when required? This could solve the difficult student:teacher ratios we face?
