Teachers perhaps need to be an equal part performer who enact and ‘live’ the subject in their interactions with students. Music, theatre, visual arts and drama can bring alive a subject like nothing else. For example, Music and Maths education appear to have a strong correlation, as does perhaps Creative Arts and Engineering.
